Our Railway
The Great Western Villa is also the home of one of the finest '0' Gauge layouts in the country measuring 14 feet by 18 feet and can run 12 locomotives at one time. With a selection of almost 100 engines, many from the 1920's, the scene is never the same twice.
Many of the accessories have been beautifully preserved enabling you to view such original gems including stations, engine sheds, and signals as they were in the 1930's. The Great Western Railway had a special appeal to the British who lost no time in christening it 'God's wonderful railway' (GWR) and this charming layout goes a long way to capturing the beauty and nostalgia of the bygone age of steam!!
